The Town of Double Oak requires that all door to door solicitors obtain a permit to conduct such activity and must be displayed at all times while going door to door. Permit application documents are available at the Double Oak Police Department.
- All door to door solicitors must have the identification badge provided by the Double Oak Police Department at all times while soliciting within Double Oak’s jurisdiction.
- Solicitation is allowed between 9 a.m. and sunset, Monday through Saturday.
- Solicitation is not allowed on public property.

Obtaining a Permit
All door to door solicitors must undergo an employment and criminal background check before their permit can be issued. Once the applicant passes the background check, the Double Oak Chief of Police will issue the permit. Solicitors are instructed to have their permit badges visible when going door to door in Double Oak. Using the application form below, answer all questions and submit the appropriate documentation required to Town Hall. The permit will be valid between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and sunset, Monday through Saturday, for one year from the date of issuance.
