Double Oak Turkey Trot

Get registered now for the Double Oak Turkey Trot. Spots are filling up fast. Wake up early on Thanksgiving and bring the family out for a 5k or a one-mile fun run/walk. The organizers for this event are local and amazing people. It is always a fun time at the Double Oak Turkey Trot.

Town Hall Closed for Thanksgiving

Double Oak Town Hall will be closed on Thursday & Friday 11/24 & 11/25 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Double Oak Christmas tree lighting

The annual Christmas tree lighting will be on Monday, December 5 at 6:00pm. The DOVFD plans to bring special guests from the North Pole in for the tree lighting. Come enjoy the evening in your community.

The Double Oak Women’s Club is accepting monetary donations to present to the three families of Double Oak’s fallen police officers. Please see the town website for more information. Donations of cash or check can be dropped off at town hall. Make checks payable to the Double Oak Women’s Club; memo Christmas for Officers Families.

The DOWC Children’s Winter Event is scheduled for Saturday, December 10 starting at 1pm at town hall. See the calendar on the town website.

Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department Santa Sunday

The DOVFD plans to bring Santa to all the streets in town on Sunday, December 11 starting at noon. Listen for the sirens.
