RE: July 4th Parade
The Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department has heard from our community members, and given the updated information from the State of Texas, we are pleased to announce that we will continue our tradition of the Annual 4th of July Parade.
This year’s parade will be motor vehicles only and will have an expanded route through town to bring the parade closer to your neighborhood and to minimize crowds. We will have updated information on the parade route, times, and starting line-up on the DOVFD website and Facebook page and will supply this information to the Double Oak Town Hall.
Given the current guidelines for outdoor events, the annual picnic is cancelled for this year. We would like to thank our residents for your understanding and continued support.
