Permitting Process for Double Oak – Roof Repair/Replacement

Due to last Sunday's hailstorm, many Double Oak homeowners may have their roofs replaced in the coming months.  After you have chosen your reputable Roofing repair contractor, please let them know that Double Oak has an online permitting application tool.

The link below is for applying online for a roof permit.

Roof Application - Double Oak, TX (iworq.net)

Roofing permits are $85.00, and they are typically turned around within 72 hours.  Sometimes faster if all the insurance paperwork is included in the online application process.

For further questions, please get in touch with the Double Oak Public Works Department.

Follow Up:  Important Communication from the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, and Chief of Police

The Double Oak Police have addressed the situation with the person passing out flyers.  We expect to see no more flyers put around the town.  There is still an ongoing investigation.  The Chief will keep us posted on the outcome of the investigation.

Public Works Update – July 4th Parade Route

In the coming weeks, citizens living on the 4th of July parade route may see a crew doing some trimming up on low-hanging limbs.  Fire Trucks are expensive, and we want to ensure the safe passage of these high-profile vehicles and, oh yes, of a Large yellow Duck that has been known to swim our parade route on July 4th.

If you live in Double Oak, Showcase your talents!
