Letter to Town on Sergeant Clint Murphy

Double Oak Citizens and Town Council, 

 

With caring thoughts and deepest sympathy, the Town of Double Oak would like to extend our condolences to the family of Sergeant Clint Murphy and also to our Double Oak Police Department and Town Administration staff.  

 

Police Chief Rivas and Assistant Chief Gaines will be main points of contact for all information regarding Sergeant Murphy. Our Double Police Department is a close family and the tragedies of the past year have taken its toll on the department and the town. It is important that Chief Rivas and his staff have the flexibility in how the next step of communication takes place. The town will rely on Chief Rivas to obtain the permission from all relevant parties to communicate the additional details regarding services and other pertinent information to the town citizens in regard to Sergeant Murphy. 

 

Sergeant Clint Murphy was a diligent compassionate officer for the Town of Double Oak citizens and The Double Oak Police Department. Very much a team player and he will be missed.

 

May Sergeant Murphy’s family find peace, comfort, and all the love they need in the days to come.
