Line of Duty Death - Officer Lonnie Sneed (Updated)
The Double Oak Police Department is mourning the loss of Officer Lonnie Sneed who passed away Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, following a battle with COVID-19. Officer Sneed has served with the Double Oak Police Department since August of 2016.
Before joining the Double Oak Police Department, Officer Sneed served with the Springtown Police Department, and Rhome Police Department. Officer Sneed was 50 years old and is survived by his wife of over twenty five years and five children.
Please keep Officer Sneed’s family, as well as our entire police community, in your thoughts and prayers, as we all try to find comfort and peace in these trying times.
Funeral service March 4, 2022
The service will be at First Baptist Church Keller located at 225 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248 at 1:00 pm
Graveside will be at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034 at 3:00 pm
