May 6, 2023 Town General Election
The candidate filing for the May 6, 2023 General Election closed today at 5:00pm.
There will be an election held this year to elect a mayor and to elect two council members.

The town secretary will schedule a drawing for the candidates for place on the ballot and to hold a community candidates forum.
The town expresses its gratitude and thanks to council members Scott Whisenhunt and Casey Garrison Parsons for their honored service, as their terms expire in May.

Town Boards and Commissions
Thanks to the residents who serve on the Board of Adjustment and Planning and Zoning Commission. Both held meetings this week to consider respective business matters. Residents who are interested in serving on the Board or Commission should contact town hall regarding vacant seats.
President’s Day
Town Hall will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023 for President’s Day.
Next Town Council Meeting
Due to the President’s Day holiday, the next town council meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 7:00pm.
