Double Oak Residents,

Here is an update on the 4 storm debris dumpsters the town council has provided to immediately assist residents:

Two dumpsters are completely full. The other two are 3/4 full. We expect sometime on Sunday all dumpsters will be full and the dumpsters and parking lot will be closed. Please do not drop off debris after closure.

When dropping off storm debris, please ensure tree limbs are cut, nothing sticks out over the sides of the dumpster and tree limbs are not sticking up too tall above the dumpster height. When Republic Services picks up the full dumpsters, nothing can be sticking out over the dumpster edges and nothing too tall because the truck canopy must cover the dumpster during transport. 

More residents can use the dumpsters and more debris can be dropped off by cutting tree limbs and pushing them down in the dumpsters.

Thanks to everyone who used the dumpsters on Saturday for keeping the parking lot clean.

The town has put in a request to have the 4 dumpsters swapped out next week as soon as Republic Services is able.
