New Republic Service carts being delivered

Double Oak Residents,

Republic Services has notified town hall this morning that new Republic Services green recycle and blue trash carts are being delivered to homes and will continue to be delivered until all customers have carts. The number of carts delivered will match your account.

On Friday, May 22, 2020 customers should put all former provided Waste Management carts at the street, and leave them at the street, and they will be picked up and removed by Republic Services. If you miss Friday’s trash day and still have trash or recycle in your old Waste Management cart put the cart at the street next Friday for servicing and removal. Republic Services will eventually remove all former Waste Management carts from the street.

On the new Republic Services green recycle cart there is a sticker that has instructions on accepted and non-accepted materials to recycle.

Republic Services intends to stop servicing the former Waste Management carts.

Republic Services will conduct an account audit during this transition period.
